Bombay Tiles

Bombay Tiles is located at 58 Chembur Chandini Chauk Road. We are directly opposite the post office, which makes it very easy for people to find our shop. The street can get quite busy, especially with people going in and out of the post office all day. Our shop is filled with samples of different tiles, so there are stacks and displays everywhere you look. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes when we get new stock in. We spend a lot of time moving heavy boxes around and showing people the different patterns and materials. The air usually has a bit of a dusty smell from the ceramic and stone. We don't have any corporate office feel here; it’s a working shop. There is a desk in the corner where we handle the bills and phone calls. Chembur is a good area for us, and being on Chandini Chauk Road puts us right in the middle of things. We see a lot of locals walking by, and some of them have been coming to us for years. The shop front is usually open so people can see what we have as they pass. It’s a simple business. We focus on the tiles and making sure we have enough variety for whoever walks in. Opposite the post office is really the best way to describe our location to anyone who is new.
