Black Currant

If you're looking for us, we are right above the Speak Well place in Miragaon, Kalina. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs but once you’re here, it’s quiet enough to get things done. We called the place Black Currant, which people sometimes ask about, but it’s just the name we went with. Kalina is a hectic area with all the vehicles and people moving toward the university or the main road. Up here, we handle our daily business. We aren't a huge team. It’s mostly just us keeping track of orders and making sure everything is where it should be. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, and the desk is cluttered with pens and notebooks. We do our work without making a big fuss about it. People find us through word of mouth mostly. They see the sign or someone tells them we are above Speak Well. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. You just walk in and one of us will help you out. It’s a practical setup. We spend most of the day coordinating things and checking the stock. It’s a lot of routine, but it’s our routine. When the sun starts to set, you can see the lights of the traffic below. We finish up, lock the door, and head down into the Kalina crowd ourselves. It’s just a normal way to earn a living.
