If you’re looking for Akshayjyoti Optical, we are right there in A/g-2 of the Rochell Apartment. It’s near Shanti Nagar, specifically on the 60 Feet Road X Road in Bhayander West. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, but once you’re on the main road, it’s easy enough to spot. We spend our days looking at frames, fixing hinges, and helping people figure out why their vision isn't quite what it used to be. The shop has a lot of glass cases, so we spend a fair amount of time just cleaning fingerprints off everything. It’s a small space, but we’ve managed to fit a good variety of glasses in there. We aren't a big chain store, so it’s usually just one or two of us behind the counter. We’ve seen a lot of kids grow up and come back for bigger glasses over the years. Some people come in just to get their nose pads replaced or to have their frames straightened after sitting on them. We don't mind the small jobs. The light in the morning is great for seeing the details on the lenses, but by the evening, we’re mostly relying on the overhead tubes. It’s a steady kind of work. We try to keep things honest and tell people if a frame doesn't really suit them. It’s better to have a happy customer who can actually see clearly than to just sell something for the sake of it.
