Vedant Ayurvedic Clinic is situated right in Borivali West, just across the street from Don Bosco School. It’s a flat that we turned into a workspace where Dr. Bharati S Pimpale sees people throughout the day. The atmosphere is generally calm, which is a nice change from the traffic and noise outside on the main road. We keep a lot of traditional herbs and oils around, so there is usually a distinct earthy smell when you walk in. It’s not like those big hospital waiting rooms that feel cold; it feels more like a home. We spend a lot of time talking to patients about their daily habits and what’s actually bothering them. It is more of a personal way of doing things. Being near the school makes it a very recognizable landmark for anyone coming to see us for the first time. We have a few simple chairs for waiting and some charts on the walls about different herbs. The clinic has been part of the Borivali community for a while now, and we see families who have been coming to us for years. It’s simple, practical healthcare without any of the unnecessary bells and whistles you see in the big clinics. We just focus on the old ways of healing and try to help whoever walks through the door as best as we can. Most people find us through word of mouth, which we prefer anyway because it keeps things more local.
