We’ve been running Behera Interiors from our spot in J B Nagar Muktanand Nagar 1 for quite a while now. Most people around here know where to find us. It’s a busy area, but we like the energy. It’s just a small team of us. We spend most of our days dealing with wood, paint, and measuring tapes. Things get messy sometimes, but that is just how it goes when you're making things for people's houses. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything like that. Usually, we are out at someone's flat or house trying to figure out where a cupboard should go or what kind of ceiling would look okay. It is hard work and the dust gets everywhere. We just try to get the job done right so people can actually use their rooms. Sometimes a client changes their mind halfway through and we have to start over. It can be frustrating, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Mumbai. We just want to stay busy and do decent work for the folks who live nearby. If you walk past Muktanand Nagar 1, you might see us hauling materials in or out. It’s not a glamorous life, but it keeps us going. We’ve learned a lot over the years about what works and what doesn't in these apartments. Every space is a bit different, and we just deal with whatever problems come up on the day. We're just local workers.
