You can find us at Bebere Cookcomp Private Limited over in Cuffe Parade. Specifically, we are on the ground floor, number three, at the address registered under Noorjahan Khatoon M Sayyed. We are right by C P. Pethe Marg, which is a very busy part of the city. Being so close to the Backbay Bus Depot means there is never a quiet moment. You can hear the buses pulling in and out all day long, and there’s a constant stream of people walking past our door. The space is a bit cramped, as you might expect for this part of Mumbai, but we make it work for what we do. It’s mostly about the cook-comp equipment and administrative stuff here. The air conditioning is always running because the humidity gets quite bad. Our desks are pushed close together, and there’s always a stack of files that someone needs to go through. It’s a very practical environment, no fancy decorations or anything like that. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to people who drop in from the neighborhood. Working in Cuffe Parade has its challenges, like finding a place to park or dealing with the midday rush, but we’ve been here long enough that it feels normal. It’s just a small team of us working hard in a busy city corner. We keep the papers filed and the orders moving as best as we can every single day.
