Basar Group

We are located at Pride of Kalina, number 516, right opposite Golden Orchard in Santacruz East. Being in Mumbai, we’re right in the middle of all the noise and energy of the city. Our office isn’t anything too grand; it’s just a functional space where we handle the group’s operations. You can hear the traffic from the street all day long, and the elevators in the building can be a bit slow when everyone is trying to get to work. We spend most of our time on calls or in small meetings trying to coordinate different projects. The walls are mostly bare, except for a few calendars and some notes we’ve pinned up. It’s not a place designed for show. We have stacks of files on the cabinets and the printers always seem to run out of ink at the worst possible time. We aren’t interested in using big words or sounding like a major corporation. We’re just a group of people working out of Santacruz, trying to keep our projects on track. Sometimes we grab lunch at the stalls nearby and talk about the work. It’s a very grounded way of doing things. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just have a list of things that need to be finished by the end of the week. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure the business keeps moving along steadily without making things more complicated than they need to be.
