Balloon Studio

We are located up on the 4th floor of the Ajanta building in Cumballa Hill. Balloon Studio is in Room No 4 B. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more often than we’d like. The studio is usually a mess of colorful latex, ribbons, and helium tanks. It’s not the most organized space, but we know where the pumps are hidden. There are always half-inflated balloons drifting around the ceiling. We spend our days twisting, tying, and packing things up for parties and events. The view from the window is actually quite nice, looking out over the hill. We get a lot of sunlight in the afternoon, which makes the bright colors even brighter. It’s a fun job, but it can be hard on the hands after a few hours of tying knots. We have orders coming in all the time, so someone is always busy with a pair of scissors or a spool of string. It gets a bit chaotic when we have a big event to prepare for. The floor is usually covered in little bits of plastic and ribbon. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most people just call us or come up to the 4th floor to pick up their bags. It’s just a workspace filled with air and color. We like the creative side of it, even if our fingers are sore by evening.
