At Balaji Strategic Management Consultants Pvt Ltd, we work out of a space at number 102 in the Patel Seethappa Colony. We are specifically on the 10th Main of B E M L Main Road in Andheri. It’s a bit of a long address to write down, but it’s a good spot to be in. We’ve been here for a while now, dealing with all the various bits of paperwork and planning that come with management consulting. It sounds like a big title, but really we just spend our time looking at how businesses are running and trying to figure out how to make things a little bit smoother for them. Our office is filled with stacks of folders and several computers that are always humming. We don’t have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, just some maps of the area and a few clocks that we sometimes forget to wind. The team is small, and we’ve all worked together for quite some time, so we know each other's habits pretty well. Being in Andheri means there is always something going on outside, which keeps the energy up in the office. We don't go in for big corporate speeches or anything like that. We just sit down with whoever comes in, look at what they have, and talk through the options. It’s more like a conversation over a desk than a formal meeting. We like the local feel of Patel Seethappa Colony, even though the work we do involves a lot of thinking and sorting out problems.
