This business is just a partnership between the two of us here in Mahalaxmi. We use the number 47177 for our official stuff, but mostly people just know us by our names. We have a small space where we keep our files and do our daily tasks. It isn't anything special to look at, just a regular office with a couple of chairs and a sturdy table. We’ve known each other for a long time, so working together was a natural choice. We don't have any employees or big departments to worry about. If you call us, you’ll talk to one of us directly. Mahalaxmi is a busy place, but our little corner stays relatively calm. We spend our days mostly answering letters and keeping track of the records we have. Sometimes we go out for a long lunch at the local cafe down the street. We don't feel the need to have a polished corporate image. We just wear our regular clothes and do the work that needs to be done. It is a very direct way to run a business. We like that we don't have to answer to anyone else. Most days we are done by five and can head home to our families. It is a practical arrangement that has worked for us for several years. We plan to stay right here in Mahalaxmi for as long as we can keep going.
