Azure

We operate between Mumbai and Pune, which keeps us pretty busy moving back and forth. It’s not the easiest way to run things, but it’s how we’ve always done it at Azure. We don't have one single fancy headquarters that we show off. Instead, we are just present in these two cities, handling things as they pop up. Sometimes we are in a small office in Mumbai, other times we are meeting people in Pune. The highway between the two cities feels like a second home to some of us. We aren't a big company with a lot of layers. If you talk to us, you are talking to the people actually doing the work. We don't like to overcomplicate things. We just see what needs to be done and we do it. The pace can be a bit draining, but we are used to it by now. No one here wears a tie unless they really have to for a special reason. We prefer just getting on with it. It’s a bit of a scrap sometimes, juggling work in two different places, but it works for us. We don't have a long history or a big mission. We just have a lot of work to do and two cities to do it in. That’s pretty much the whole story of how we run things. It is practical and keeps us moving.
