Automatic Industries

We are located in the Old Mathuradas Mills Compound. Our unit is number 126, near the E. S. I. C. Bhavan on N. M. Joshi Marg in Lower Parel. The compound has a lot of history and you can still see the old brickwork and the high ceilings from when it was a textile mill. Nowadays, we use the space for manufacturing small mechanical components and some basic assembly work. It is a big, open room that gets a lot of light from the tall windows, which is nice during the day. We have several rows of workbenches and some older automated machines that we keep running. The sound of the machinery echoing off the walls is just part of the daily routine. We get a lot of foot traffic in the compound with all the new shops and cafes opening up around us, but we mostly keep to ourselves. Boxes are usually stacked up near the door, waiting for the transport trucks to arrive in the afternoon. We do not have a big management team, just a few of us who look after the production and the shipping. It is a bit of a dusty environment, but it feels like a real workplace. We have a small corner with a table where we sit and eat our tiffins. It is a good place to work and the location is convenient for everyone.
