About Attari Cool Engineering – Electrical in Mumbai
We operate out of unit 6 in the Sheetal Home Complex over in Chembur. It’s not really a place for showing off, more of a workshop where we keep our tools and spare parts. Most of the day is spent out on jobs, but when we are here, there is usually a lot of clanking and the smell of grease. We have stacks of old units in the corner that we use for parts. The complex is mostly quiet, which is nice when you are trying to fix something delicate. We have a small table where we sit to have our tea and talk about the day’s work. Sometimes we lose a screwdriver or a specific bolt and everyone has to stop and look for it, which is annoying but happens. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we are more focused on the machines. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy things and getting our hands dirty. Chembur gets pretty humid, so we know how important it is to keep things running. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the phone rings, whoever is closest to it picks it up. It’s just us working and making sure we have what we need for the next job. We try to keep the floor swept, but with all the metal shavings and dust, it’s a constant battle that we usually lose by noon. It's just a regular workshop for regular guys.
