Assistant

The place is called Assistant and we are situated at House Number B 439. This is in Metroville I, which is part of the Site area in Karachi. If you have ever been to the Site area, you know it is very industrial and busy. Our little spot in Metroville is right in the middle of all that activity. The house itself is where everything happens. It’s not a corporate office park. It is a real home where we’ve set up some space to work. Karachi is a massive city and it can be overwhelming, so having a base in Metroville I works out well for us. We handle all sorts of assistant tasks from here. The rooms are filled with desks and there’s usually a pot of tea going somewhere. It’s not the quietest place because of the sirens and the trucks nearby, but that’s just Karachi life for you. We don’t have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just tell people our house number and they find us. It’s an honest, small-scale operation. We’ve been at B 439 for quite some time now. Most of our neighbors know what we do. We just keep our heads down and get the work finished by the end of the day. There’s no need for anything more complicated than that. It’s just us doing what we can from our corner of the city.
