Ashida Electronics

Being up on the 5th floor in Thane gives us a bit of a different perspective on the city. Ashida Electronics is located in unit D-5. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more often than we would like, but it keeps us fit I suppose. The office is quite airy because of the height. We have a lot of metal racks filled with different electronic parts and finished units. Thane is a crowded place, but up here it feels a bit more secluded. You can hear the trains in the distance if you listen closely. We’ve been operating from this Maharashtra address for a good while. Our daily routine is mostly consistent. We arrive, check what needs to be shipped, and then spend hours troubleshooting or assembling. The lighting is bright because we need to see the tiny parts we work with. There is no fancy lobby or a person in a suit greeting you at the door. You just walk in and find us working. The walls are painted a standard off-white that has faded a bit over the years. We have a small corner for the files and paperwork, but the real heart of the place is where the soldering stations are set up. It’s a practical workspace for people who actually like getting their hands a bit dirty with technical tasks.
