Asbah

Our place is called Asbah and you can find us at New Nagpada on Sufiya Zubair Road 2. It’s a lively part of the city. We have been in this spot for a bit now. There isn't much to say about us other than we are just local people trying to make a living. The road gets quite busy with bikes and carts going past all day long. Inside, it’s a bit quieter. We didn't spend a lot of money on fancy decorations or anything. We just put in what we needed to get the work done. Most of the people who come to see us are from around the block. We know their names and they know ours. It feels like a small community even though the city is so big. Sometimes we have a lot of work and we are staying late into the evening. Other times we just sit and talk with the neighbors who drop by to say hello. Sufiya Zubair Road has changed a bit over the years, but we’ve stayed pretty much the same. We just do our thing every day and hope for the best. It is a simple setup with a few tables and some shelves. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have known each other for a long time. There is always tea on the stove and someone ready to talk. That's just the way it is here.
