I work out of my home in Mulund West. It is B Wing, Flat 43 in Himmat Apartment. Most people know the area because it is right behind the Mulund station and near the Kamala Market Phase 1. It’s a quiet building, which is good for focusing. I handle a lot of different things, mostly related to accounts or paperwork for people. I don’t have a big office with a sign outside, people just come to the flat. My desk is near the window where I can see the market. It’s a lived-in space with books and files everywhere. I’ve lived in Mulund for a long time, so I know how things work around here. Sometimes clients stay for a cup of tea and we talk about the news or the neighborhood. I don’t use a lot of fancy technology, just my computer and a printer. It’s a one-man operation for the most part. I like being close to the station because it makes it easy for people to drop off documents on their way to work. The market can get quite loud on the weekends, but inside the apartment, it’s mostly peaceful. I don't have any staff, so if the phone rings, I'm the one answering it. It is just a simple way of working that suits me. I’ve been doing this for years and have built up a lot of regular visitors. I usually start my day early with a coffee.
