Arvind Eye Clinic

Arvind Eye Clinic is situated at Y Kunt NFC, which is near Vivekanand College in the Chembur Sindhi Society area. It is a busy part of Chembur, and there are always people walking around, especially students from the college. The clinic is not very large, but we have everything we need for eye exams. We have those charts on the wall with the big 'E' at the top. We spend a lot of our time sitting in the small exam room, switching out different lenses in the heavy metal frames that patients wear. It is a lot of "is this one better or that one better" all day long. The waiting room has some basic chairs and a desk where we keep the appointment book. We still use a physical book for most things because it is easier for us. The windows are usually covered with thin blinds to keep the glare out, since bright light isn't great when you are getting your eyes checked. We have a small selection of frames in a glass case near the front for people who need new glasses. The floor is a light-colored marble that we try to keep shiny, but it gets scuffed from all the foot traffic. It is a quiet place for the most part, except for the sound of the traffic from the main road. We know many of the neighbors from the Sindhi Society who have been coming to us for years. It is just a regular, local eye clinic.
