Arvendra Pratap

My name is Arvendra Pratap and I work out of room 201 in Chande House. This is in the Krishna Reddy Layout, right on Bunder Road in Andheri West. It’s a pretty lively part of Mumbai. There is always something happening outside on the street. Chande House is a familiar building to people who live around here. My space is on the second floor, number 201. It’s a simple setup with just enough room for what I need to do each day. I’ve been in Andheri West for quite some time now. The commute can be a bit of a nightmare with the traffic on Bunder Road, so I try to get in early before it gets bad. The layout is mostly residential but there are a few offices like mine tucked into the buildings. I spend a lot of time at my desk. Sometimes I head down to the local tea stall for a break. It's a good way to see what's happening in the neighborhood. My work keeps me fairly occupied throughout the day. It’s not a corporate environment at all. Just a regular room where I can focus on my tasks. The walls are a bit thin, so I can hear the city life outside, which I actually don't mind. It feels like being part of the local buzz. I just keep things running as best as I can from here without too much fuss.
