You can find us at Sharad/23 New Mandala, inside the B.A.R.C. Colony. It is a very specific kind of place to work, being part of the colony. Our work with optics is quite delicate, so we have to keep the place as clean as possible, which is a constant battle against dust. We handle lenses and mirrors and all sorts of glass components that you cannot just touch with your bare hands. It requires a lot of steady hands and patience. The building itself is older, but we have set it up to suit the technical work we do. It is often very quiet inside because everyone is concentrating so hard. We do not have a lot of walk-in traffic given our location, so we mostly work with people who already know exactly what they need from us. Sometimes we spend the whole day just testing one single component to make sure the light passes through it exactly right. It can be exhausting for the eyes, but it is what we do. We take breaks to walk around the colony a bit and get some fresh air when we can. It is a small team and we all have our specific roles. We do not go in for big marketing pushes; our work is niche enough that the right people usually find their way to us eventually. We just like to do a good, careful job on every piece of glass.
