Anjali Mathur

I am Anjali Mathur. My place is over in Prabhadevi, inside the Apte Estate on Dr. E. Moses Road. I’m in the A Wing of the Purshottam building, specifically Flat 131. It’s a busy area of Mumbai, as anyone who drives through here knows. I’ve been based in this flat for quite some time. It serves as both my workspace and where I manage all my day-to-day operations. It’s a bit of an old-school building, but it has character. I don’t believe in having a sterile office environment. My space is filled with things I actually use every day. There are books, heaps of papers, and my laptop. It gets the job done. I don't have a staff of twenty people. It’s just me. I handle the inquiries, the paperwork, and the actual work myself. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, so I end up waiting and chatting with the neighbors. It’s a very local way of doing things. I don’t use any corporate jargon or try to sound bigger than I am. I’m just a person running a business from a flat in Prabhadevi. It’s practical and it works for me. The location is good because it’s central, even if the traffic on Dr. E. Moses Road can be a nightmare during rush hour. I’ve grown used to the sounds of the city outside my window while I work. It is noisy, but it feels like home.
