Shaan Enterprise

Shaan Enterprise is right on Kherani Road in Sakinaka. If you know Mumbai, you know how chaotic Sakinaka is. The traffic is constant and there is always someone honking outside. Our spot is in Andheri East, close to Mumbai Central, so we are right in the middle of everything. The building is one of those older ones that has seen better days, but it works for what we need. It gets really humid in here, especially during the rains. We have some old desks and a few chairs that have been around since we started. The noise from the street never really stops, so we have to talk pretty loud to hear each other. We spend most of the day on the phone or moving things around the small floor space we have. Finding a parking spot for a bike is a daily struggle, and don't even think about bringing a car. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, but mostly it is just grey buildings and more traffic. It is a tough area to work in, but it is also very lively. There is always a vada pav stall nearby when we get hungry. We don't have a big staff, just a few people who have been here forever. We just keep our heads down and get through the mountain of work that piles up.
