Ammar Graphics

Our shop is over at Qamar Castle on Dockyard Road in Mazgaon. Ammar Graphics is a place where you’ll usually find us covered in a bit of ink or surrounded by stacks of paper. It’s a working shop, not a shiny studio. We do a lot of designing and printing for people in the neighborhood and beyond. The machines can be pretty noisy when they’re all running at once. We spend our time checking colors and making sure the layouts aren't crooked. It’s a lot of staring at monitors and then looking at physical prints to see if they match. Mazgaon is a busy area and we fit right in with the local grit. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media manager. Most people just walk in because they saw our sign or heard we do decent work. We’ve had some of the same equipment for years because it still does the job. Sometimes we stay late to finish a big run before a deadline. It gets stressful when a machine jams, but we usually figure it out. We don’t talk about synergy or vision. We just talk about paper weight and ink levels. It’s a simple business built on just doing what we said we would do. The office is a bit cramped with all the boxes, but we know where everything is.
