Almas Clinic

Almas Clinic is tucked away at 13 A Lambi Cement Chawl on 60 62 Byculla Station Road. It’s a very busy area, right near the station, so there’s a constant stream of people passing by. The building is part of an old chawl, which means space is a bit tight and the walls are thick. We’ve been here serving the Byculla community for quite some time. It’s a simple clinic where people come for their everyday health problems. The noise from the station and the trains is something we’ve all just gotten used to over the years. Inside, it’s a bit cramped with the reception desk and the waiting benches, but we make it work. We see a lot of people every day, from shopkeepers to commuters who stop in on their way home. We don't have fancy air conditioning or velvet chairs, just a ceiling fan that hums and some basic wooden benches. Our doctors have seen just about everything that comes through these doors. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We keep our records in big folders and try to keep things organized despite the small space. It’s a tough location but it’s where we are needed most. We just show up every day and do our best for whoever comes in.
