Al Rahat Granite

Our shop is at Shop No 10 in the Charmi Enclave Building. We are right on the Western Express Highway service road in Vile Parle East. The Parla subway is just a short walk away, so we get a lot of foot traffic passing by. It is a very noisy spot with the highway right there. The cars never seem to stop. We have a decent selection of granite inside. It is a bit of a challenge to get the big slabs into the shop because the service road is narrow and people park their scooters everywhere. We often have to ask people to move their bikes so our delivery truck can get close. Inside, it is a bit quieter but you can still feel the vibration of the heavy trucks. We spend the day showing samples and talking to people about their house projects. We do not have a fancy dress code or anything. Usually, we are just in our regular clothes, maybe a bit dusty from the stone. The subway being nearby makes it easy for our workers to get here. We have been in this building for a while now and know the other shopkeepers well. It is a busy life but we are used to the pace of Mumbai. We just try to keep the shop organized and help people find a stone that fits their budget without any fuss.
