Al Marwah Marbles & Granites

You can find us in the Premsons Industrial Estate, specifically in Tahira Compound at Unit No. 8. Al Marwah Marbles & Granites has been in this part of Jogeshwari East for quite some time now. We are right on Caves Road, opposite the Jain Mandir. It is a very busy area, especially when there are festivals at the temple. The compound is always full of trucks and people moving crates. It can get a bit tight in here when we are trying to unload a fresh shipment of marble. Our unit is mostly filled with big slabs of granite and some marble pieces we’ve kept for years. I spend my days mostly talking to contractors who come in looking for specific sizes. The floor of the shop is always covered in that grey slurry from the cutting machine we keep in the back. It’s not a quiet place at all. Between the temple bells and the industrial noise, it is quite loud. I usually have my lunch sitting on a crate of stone while watching the traffic crawl by on Caves Road. We aren't trying to be fancy or anything. We just have a lot of stone and we try to sell it to anyone who needs it for their home. It is a messy, heavy job, but someone has to do it. We have been here for years and the neighbors all know us by name now.
