Nariman Point is a legendary spot in Mumbai, and we’re right in the middle of it at Jolly Maker Chambers No. II. We are at number 91. It’s an old building, but it has character. Al Kabeer Exports Pvt. Ltd. has been here for years. You can smell the sea air when you walk out of the lobby. The wind can be quite strong coming off the water. Inside our office, it’s mostly just the sound of typing and the occasional shout across the room. We don’t have a fancy lobby or a bunch of awards on display. We just have our work. Al Kabeer Exports Pvt. Ltd. is about getting things from one place to another. We spend a lot of time on the phone and checking schedules. Jolly Maker Chambers II is a busy place with a lot of history. We’re just one of the many businesses making it work. We like the location because it’s Nariman Point, but we don't let it get to our heads. We're still just folks in an office. Sometimes we go down for a walk by the sea when things get too stressful. It’s a good place to be. We don’t need a lot of bells and whistles. We just need our desks and a working phone line. That’s the reality of it for us at number 91.
