Ajit R Prabhu

If you ever walk past Dadar Railway Station, you’ve probably been right near us. Ajit R Prabhu is located at 897 Ghoga Street, right opposite the station entrance. It is a very busy part of town, as you can imagine. The noise from the trains and the crowds never really stops during the day. Our office is a modest space. It’s been here for years, and the walls have that lived-in look that comes with time. We don't bother with expensive decorations or modern furniture. We’re more interested in the work on the table. People drop in all the time because we are so easy to find right by the tracks. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when too many visitors arrive at once, but we make do with the chairs we have. Being in Dadar means we see everyone from everywhere in Mumbai. It’s the heart of the city in a lot of ways. We handle our day-to-day business with a lot of pens and paper, and maybe a few old computers that still work just fine. We aren't trying to be the biggest name out there. We just want to do right by the people who come through the door. The fan overhead usually makes a bit of a clicking sound when it is on high, but we don't even notice it anymore. It’s just how it is at 897 Ghoga Street. We stay busy and keep things moving.
