You can find us at A-5 in Rustom Market, over in Sakinaka. It’s right near the Peninsula Hotel. The market is always a bit chaotic and loud, but that’s just how Sakinaka is. We keep a lot of tiles and marble slabs stacked up here. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit in as many different designs as we possibly can. Customers come in and walk through the narrow aisles to see the patterns on the tiles. We’ve been here in Rustom Market for quite a few years now. It’s a dusty job, handling stone and ceramic all day long. We mostly deal with local builders or people fixing up their own bathrooms and kitchens. We don’t have a fancy printed catalog; we just show you what’s physically there in the shop on the racks. Sometimes we have to move twenty heavy slabs just to get to the one particular piece the customer likes. It’s hard on the back, but it’s just the nature of the job. The tea stalls nearby keep us going during the long, slow afternoons. It gets quite noisy with the heavy traffic outside, so we usually have to speak up to be heard clearly. We just want to sell some tiles and go home to our families at the end of the day. It’s a simple, honest operation we've got going here in the market. We just keep things moving as best as we can.
