Aishwarya Food Product

Our business, Aishwarya Food Product, is situated in Kalbadevi. Specifically, we are at Shop No 28 in Krishna Niwas, which is part of the Cama Industrial Estate near Sun Mill Cmpound. If you know the 388 area, you know how packed the streets can get. It’s an old part of the city, and the buildings have a lot of character, even if they are a bit worn out. We handle food products here, mostly packaging and getting items ready for the market. The space is tight, and we have to be very organized to make sure we don't mix up the batches. You can always smell something good when you walk near our shop. It is a lot of lifting and moving crates around. The hallways in the estate are narrow, so we have to be careful when the loaders are coming through. We’ve been here at Krishna Niwas for a while now. It’s a very traditional way of doing business, face to face with a lot of regular customers and local distributors. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just us doing the work every day. When the monsoon hits, the lanes get even more crowded with umbrellas, but we keep the shop open. We focus on making sure the bags are sealed and the snacks are fresh before they head out to the local shops in the neighborhood.
