Agrawal Eye Hospital

Agrawal Eye Hospital is on the first floor of Maharaja Apartment on SV Road. It’s right across from the telephone exchange in Malad West. Being on SV Road means it’s always loud outside with all the buses and cars. The hospital is mainly dedicated to eyes. We have some equipment for testing vision and doing small procedures. It’s been here for quite some time, and the building is starting to show its age a little. There is an elevator, but it’s a bit slow, so many people just use the stairs to get to the first floor. The waiting area is usually full of people wearing glasses or patches. We have a small desk where my assistant handles the files. We don't do anything too fancy with marketing; we just rely on people telling their friends about us. It’s a busy practice, and we stay on our feet most of the day. Sometimes the water cooler runs out and we have to wait for the delivery guy, but we manage. It’s just a regular eye clinic for the Malad area. We see people of all ages, from kids getting their first glasses to older folks who need more help. The windows in the back office look out over the shops. We keep a lot of frames in the corner cupboard for people to choose from. It’s a pretty basic setup but it works for us. My glasses often get misplaced during the morning rush.
