Agarwal Eye Hospital

Agarwal Eye Hospital is down on the ground floor of the Bonny Plaza Shopping Centre. We are in 3A, right on Station Road in Andheri West. Being near the station means there are always people rushing past our windows to catch their trains. It gets quite noisy in the afternoons when the schools let out and the commuters start heading home. The 400058 area is always moving and shaking. We have been in this spot for a good bit of time now. The shopping center has a lot of different shops, so it’s easy to find us if you just look for the Bonny Plaza sign. We keep things pretty simple inside. There is a desk and some chairs for people to sit while they wait for their turn. The ground floor location is good because nobody has to climb stairs, which is helpful for some of the older folks who come to see us. Sometimes the monsoon rain makes the road outside a bit of a mess, but we just keep the door shut and carry on with our day. Most of our work is just regular eye stuff. We don't have a big marketing team or anything, just us working here. It’s a small space, but we make it work. The lights stay on until late evening because Andheri never really stops. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the long shifts.
