Advance Food

You can find Advance Food tucked away in Powai East. We are in Shop No 1502 inside the Punch Mahal building. It’s right behind M.S. Sakti School. You can hear the kids playing during recess sometimes. It’s a lively little spot. We aren't a big chain or anything. It is just a shop where we handle our food business. The space isn't huge, but it fits everything we need. We spend most of our time organizing supplies and talking to people who come by. Powai East is a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside. We’ve been here long enough that we know the other shop owners around Punch Mahal. We don't use any fancy systems to run things. It’s mostly just paper and pens and hard work. We don't have a big mission statement written on the wall. We just want to make sure the food we handle is good and people are happy with it. It’s a basic way of doing things, but it works for us. Most days are pretty much the same. We open up early, do the work, and close up when we are done. It’s a local life. Sometimes it’s a bit cramped in the shop when a big delivery arrives, but we manage. We just move things around until everything fits. It’s how we’ve always done it.
