We are situated in the Span Centre, specifically in units 405 and 406. This is in Santacruz West, right across from the Ramakrishna Mission Temple. It’s a well-known landmark, so people don’t usually have trouble finding our building. We deal with cooling towers, which is quite a specific type of engineering work. Inside our office, it’s mostly technical drawings and stacks of site reports. We aren’t the type of company that has a fancy lobby. It’s a working office where we spend a lot of time calculating specs and talking to our crews out in the field. The temple across the road is quite beautiful, and sometimes we can hear the bells or the chanting when the windows are open. It’s a nice contrast to the technical stuff we do all day. Santacruz is a busy area, so there is always a lot of movement outside. We’ve been at this for a long time now. Our desks are covered in pens, calculators, and coffee mugs. We don’t use a lot of big words or try to impress people with corporate talk. We just know how cooling towers work and we try to make sure our clients get what they need. It’s a lot of coordination between the office here and the fabrication sites. Sometimes it gets stressful when deadlines are tight, but we just push through and get it finished. Most of us have been here for years.
