Adcs Consultancy (Opc) Private Limited is a one-person company setup based in the Vishwabharti Society. You can find us on the third floor, Flat No. 13, in the Bindu Building on V P Road in Andheri West. Being an OPC means the office is quite personal and doesn't feel like a big corporate firm at all. It is just a regular room with a desk, a computer, and way too many pens that don't always work. V P Road is a busy stretch, so there is always the sound of horns and people shouting outside. The walk up to the third floor is good exercise since the building doesn't always have the most reliable elevator service. Most of the consultancy work involves a lot of sitting and thinking, so the quiet of the flat helps with that. There are stacks of papers that need filing and the bookshelf is overflowing with old manuals. We don't have any formal dress code or anything like that. If someone visits, they usually just sit on the sofa and we talk through whatever needs doing over a glass of water. It is a very simple way of working. There is no marketing team or fancy branding here, just one person trying to manage all the different parts of a consultancy business from a small apartment in Mumbai. It is a lot of work but it is manageable when you take it one day at a time.
