Abode Construction Ltd

The office for Abode Construction Ltd is tucked away in the Mahavir Industrial Estate, right on Andheri Kurla Road. Being in Bandra West sounds fancy to some, but this area is mostly about hard work and constant movement. The address is 114 A, and if you come by, you will see a lot of small businesses around us. It is noisy because of the traffic on the main road, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We do construction work, which means we are usually covered in a bit of dust or thinking about cement and bricks. The office is where we keep all the site plans and the accounts. It is not a place for showing off. We have some plastic chairs for visitors and a big table that is always covered in blueprints. Sometimes the light flickers when the heavy machinery in the next unit starts up. We just keep working through it. Our days are long and often involve a lot of phone calls to suppliers and laborers. We don't have a fancy reception or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will be there to talk. We have been part of this industrial estate for a long time. It feels like a small community here. Everyone is just trying to get their projects finished on time. We take things one day at a time and try to stay organized despite the chaos of Mumbai.
