P.R.S.S. Agrofood Private Limited

P.R.S.S. Agrofood Private Limited is in a place that’s a bit hard to explain to people who don't live here. The address says B-16, Shiv Prabha Chs Ltd in Mohili Village. It is near Ghatkopar but also has Andheri East in the address. It’s right opposite the Dhanalaxmi building. The whole area is very crowded and the streets are narrow. We have been here for a while and the office is just a small room filled with the smell of whatever food products we are handling that week. The building is old and the walls are a bit stained from the monsoon rains over the years. We have a couple of desks pushed together. It is a noisy neighborhood with people shouting and horns honking all the time. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist. You just walk in. Most of our work is dealing with the local markets and making sure the food supplies are moving. We eat our lunch at our desks most days because there isn't much space for a break room. The stairs are steep and we usually have to carry things up ourselves. It’s a lot of physical work and sometimes it gets very tiring. But we are used to the rhythm of Mumbai. We just keep going. It isn't a glamorous life, but it is ours and we are fine with that. We know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers well.
