If you know Borivali West, you know how crowded Chandavarkar Road can get. That is where we are, up in the B Wing of Dattani Trade Centre. Viush Trading And Manufacturing Llp has been operating from this spot for a bit. It’s a typical Mumbai trade building, lots of stairs and people moving boxes in the hallways. Inside our unit, number 21, it is usually a bit of a mess with samples and catalogs everywhere. We do both trading and some manufacturing, so there is always something being looked at or tested. Some days we are focused on the factory side, making sure things are being built right, and other days we are just sellers. The noise from the street below never really stops, but you get used to it after a week or two. Our staff is small, just a few of us who have been doing this for years. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just know how to make things and how to get them into the hands of people who want to buy them. It’s a lot of long hours, especially when a big shipment is due. We usually eat lunch together at the desks while looking over the inventory lists. It isn't a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy and the business keeps moving forward in its own way.
