If you ever find yourself near Swapna Nagari in Mulund, you might stumble across where we run Mohraan Farms Llp. We operate out of Pine Wood Bldg, specifically in D 603. It's a regular residential building, which makes it feel more like a home than a stiff office. We started this because we had a real interest in how food gets from the soil to the table. Most of our time is spent dealing with the logistics of it all. It’s not always easy and sometimes things don't go according to plan. We have stacks of papers and ledgers all over the place. The neighbors in Vasant Garden probably see us coming and going at odd hours. We don't have a receptionist or anything fancy like that. Usually, if the phone rings, whoever is closest just picks it up. It can get pretty hectic when several things happen at once. We try to keep things straightforward and honest. Working in agriculture from a city apartment has its own set of challenges, but we enjoy the pace. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our job well and go home at the end of the day. It is just a small group of us trying to make a go of it. Sometimes we forget to even take a lunch break.
