Ikheti Eco Consultancy Llp is based in Andheri East, specifically in Shankar Apartments in Kanti Nagar. We are up on the fifth floor in room 502. J.B. Nagar is a busy part of Mumbai, and being near the metro helps because the traffic on the roads can be a nightmare most days. Our consultancy isn't about sitting in big boardrooms. It’s usually us in this apartment office, looking at plans and talking to people on the phone. The space is a bit tight with all the books and papers we have lying around, but it feels like a real workplace. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or polished. We just want to give good advice on eco-friendly practices. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and you can see the city lights from the window. It’s a very Mumbai experience. The building has that lived-in feel, and we know the security guards by name. It’s not a sterile office environment. It’s where we live and breathe our work. We deal with all sorts of clients, and most of them don't care about a fancy office; they just want to know we know our stuff. We’ve been in Andheri for a while and it suits us. There’s a lot of energy in this part of town, and we try to use that to keep ourselves going every day through the grind.
