Fresh Fish Center Private Limited

You can find us at the Kini Compound on MG Road in Charkop Village. It’s an old part of Kandivali West. We’ve been operating out of this spot at survey number 36 for a while. It’s basically where the fish comes in and gets sorted before it goes out to customers. It’s a damp place, obviously, because of all the ice and water. We don't wear suits here. It’s all boots and aprons. The smell of the sea is always around us. We get the catch early in the morning, sometimes before the sun is even up. It's a lot of heavy lifting and making sure everything stays cold. Charkop is a busy neighborhood, so there's always noise outside. We are just local folks who know fish. We don't have a website with fancy photos. If you want to see what we have, you just come by the compound. We deal with whatever the boats bring in. Some days it’s pomfret, other days it’s prawns. It depends on the season and the tide. We keep things simple. We buy the fish, we clean it, and we sell it. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. Most of our neighbors know us by name. We’re just part of the furniture in this part of Mumbai now. We just focus on the fish and getting through the day's work.
