It’s a rural spot, which makes sense since we are all about farming. Mulugu is our district now, though people still associate us with the broader Warangal region. Life out here is tied to the weather and the soil. We started this group because small farmers in our area needed a way to talk to each other and share what they know. The office is small, just a room really, where we keep our ledgers and meet up after being out in the sun all day. It’s not much to look at, but it’s where we make our plans. We deal with everything from seeds to fertilizers and trying to find buyers for what we grow. It’s a struggle sometimes, especially when the market prices change or the pests get into the crops. The roads around here can be a bit rough, especially after the monsoon, so getting into the office can be a task sometimes. It is a quiet place to work.
