Vinayak Marbles

Our marble yard is right there at Prakash Nagar Chowk on Delhi Road. It’s pretty easy to find since we are just opposite Sai Hospital and near Prathma Bank. We’ve got stacks of marble slabs and granite lining the front area. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving stuff around with the crane when someone picks a piece they like. The dust from cutting stones is always around, no matter how much we sweep. People come in from all over the area because we’ve been here for quite some time. We sell different kinds of stone for floors, stairs, and counters. Most days it’s just about showing the customers the different patterns and explaining how one stone is different from another. It’s not a fancy place, just a big open area with a lot of stone. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work outside, but we manage. My staff and I spend the whole day moving these heavy blocks. We don't really do much fancy talk; we just show what we have in stock. If someone needs a specific size, we try to get it cut for them. It’s a straightforward business. We see a lot of traffic passing by on Delhi Road every day. It’s noisy and busy, but that’s just how life is at the chowk. We’re just here doing our job and selling stone to whoever is building a house.
