Vimala Child Care Center

I run the Vimala Child Care Center here in Lajpat Nagar. We are located right opposite the Punjab National Bank, which makes it easy for parents to find us. Moradabad - 244001 is where I’ve spent most of my life. The center is a busy place, usually filled with the sound of kids. Some are crying, some are playing, and there is always a lot of movement. It’s a small building, but we make the most of the space we have. I don't believe in having a cold, sterile environment. We have some drawings on the walls and old toys in the corner. The furniture is a bit worn out from years of use, but it’s sturdy. Lajpat Nagar is a good area, though the parking can be a real headache sometimes. I see a lot of tired parents coming in and out all day. We try to keep things moving so nobody has to wait too long in the heat. My staff is just a few local people who have been with me for years. We know the families and we’ve seen the kids grow up. It’s a lot of responsibility, but I enjoy the work. The days are long and my back often hurts by evening, but seeing a child get better is a good feeling. We just take it one day at a time here.
