Bhagwati Devi Junior High School

Our school is located at Block A-15 on Bazar Gang Road in Moradabad. It’s a busy area with a lot of shops and people moving around all day long. Being right near the market means there's always some noise from the street, but the students get used to it pretty quickly. We are a junior high school, so we deal with the middle-school aged kids who are growing up fast. The building is a simple structure that we’ve tried to keep up over the years. We have basic classrooms with wooden benches and blackboards. Every morning starts with the kids lining up for prayers, and then they head into their lessons. We don't have a lot of extra space, so every corner is used for something, whether it’s storing old registers or keeping sports equipment. The staff here works hard just to keep things moving smoothly. We talk to parents about their children’s progress, often standing right at the gate when they come for pick-up. Sometimes we have small events in the courtyard, though it gets a bit tight when everyone shows up. It’s a humble place, and we don’t try to pretend it’s anything else. We focus on the books and making sure the kids learn what they need to. It’s just our daily life here in the heart of Moradabad, teaching the local kids and managing the building as best as we can every single day.
