J.S. Gupta & Sons

We are located right on Rampur Road, which is a major stretch for anyone traveling through this area. J.S. Gupta & Sons has been a name here for a long time, passed down from when things were much quieter. Now, the trucks are constantly passing by and the noise is just part of our daily life. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us and some family members who help out. Most of our day is spent checking the stock and talking to people who stop by. It’s a very practical way of living. We don't use any fancy software for everything; a lot of it is still done in big paper books. The building isn't anything special to look at, but it’s sturdy and keeps the rain out. We’ve had to fix the roof a few times after the heavy monsoons. Rampur Road can be a bit of a headache during rush hour, but it’s good for business because everyone knows where we are. We drink a lot of tea while we work and talk about the news or the weather. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We wear regular clothes and get our hands dirty when we have to. We just want to finish the day’s work and get home to our families. It’s been this way for years and we don’t see it changing much.
