C. L. Talwar & Sons

You can find C. L. Talwar & Sons out in Village Majhola, right off the Delhi Road. It’s quite a different vibe from being in the middle of a big city. We have a lot more space out here, though the dust from the main road is a constant battle. The building is a sturdy one that’s been in the family for a long time. You can see the fields nearby, and sometimes you hear the tractors passing by while we are trying to talk on the phone. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t have fancy marketing materials or a big sales team. It’s mostly just the family and a few local guys who help us out with the heavy lifting and the day-to-day chores. The office part is just a small room with a couple of old wooden desks and a filing cabinet that’s seen better days. We tend to start our work early in the morning when the air is still cool. Delhi Road is always busy with trucks, so there’s a lot of noise from the traffic, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not; we just do our work and look after the place. It’s a quiet life for the most part, apart from the occasional busy season when everything happens at once. That's just how things are for us here in Majhola, and we like it that way.
