Habib Hair Salon

Habib Hair Salon is located on Station Road in Chandausi, which is not far from the Sales Tax Office. Since we are near the station, we get a lot of people passing through as well as our regulars from around Moradabad. The sound of the trains is something you just get used to after a week of working here. Our shop is not very large, but we make the most of the space we have. We have three chairs lined up and a long shelf for our combs, razors, and spray bottles. The lighting is just a few long tubes on the ceiling that flicker a bit sometimes. We keep a bucket of water handy and plenty of clean cloths. It is a busy street, so there is always someone looking in through the window. We spend our days cutting hair and giving shaves to anyone who walks in. We do not do anything fancy like styling for movies, just honest haircuts for everyday people. When it is slow, we sit by the door and watch the rickshaws go by. Sometimes a neighbor drops by just to share a cup of tea and some news. It is a friendly spot and we have been part of this street for a long time. The work is steady and we like the people who come in. It is just how things are at Habib’s on Station Road.
