Durga Brass Industries

At Durga Brass Industries, we spend most of our time working with metal. Our location is on Rampur Road, specifically in the Vijay Nagar area. It’s an industrial sort of place where you can hear the sound of machinery from various workshops nearby. Our own space is filled with the heat of the furnaces and the clanging of brass being shaped. It isn't a clean or quiet environment, but it’s where we feel most at home. We have been operating out of this Vijay Nagar spot for quite some time now. The building is a sturdy structure meant for heavy work, not for showing off to guests. We have our raw materials stacked up in the corner and the finished brass goods ready for transport in another. The people who work here are local folks who know their way around a workshop. We don't bother with corporate jargon or complicated hierarchies. If something needs to be fixed, we fix it. If an order needs to be finished, we stay late until it’s done. Rampur Road is always busy with trucks and tempos, which helps when we need to ship things out. We just keep our focus on the metalwork and try to do a decent job every day without making a big fuss about it. That is just the way we have always done things here.
