Sukhmani Trader

We are Sukhmani Trader, located at Plot No.360 on the ground floor in Phase-2 of Sas Nagar. Our space is more of a warehouse and office combined into one. It’s not very fancy, just a lot of concrete and stacks of goods waiting to be moved. We handle a variety of trading items, so there’s always a clipboard around with lists of what’s coming in and what’s going out. Being in Phase-2 means there’s a lot of other businesses around, so the area is always busy with people and delivery vans. We don't have a big storefront window or anything like that. Most of our work is done over the phone or with people who come specifically to pick up orders. The ground floor location makes it easy to load and unload, which is good because we do a lot of that. It’s a bit of a messy place sometimes with all the packing materials laying around, but we know where everything is. We don't use any fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still written down in big ledgers. It’s just a practical, everyday trading business. We show up, do the paperwork, move the stock, and that’s about it for the day. It’s a steady routine and it keeps us occupied. Sometimes the rain leaks in a little near the back door, but we just put a bucket there and keep moving. We also spend a bit of time just talking to the drivers.
